Coffee was introduced to Zambia from Kenya and Tanzania in the early 20th century. 

Coffee production in Zambia: 

Zambian coffee is mainly grown in the northern Kasama region and the Nakonde and Isoka regions near the capital Lusaka. Giant coffee beans and bean-shaped berry coffee beans are also produced now. 

Characteristics of Zambian coffee:

Zambian coffee has a similar flavor to Kenyan coffee, although it is slightly lighter. 

Flavor: Rich, suitable for mixed coffee drinks
